Major new release of Sony Ericsson's Themes Creator tool

     It is now easier than ever to create professional-looking themes for any Sony Ericsson phone.

     A major new release of Sony Ericsson's popular Themes Creator tool is now available delivering a simplified three-step workflow, three editing modes and a clean new UI. In addition, the tool supports importing color palette files from Adobe® Kuler, Adobe's web-hosted application for exploring, creating and sharing color combinations.

     About Sony Ericsson Themes Creator
     The Sony Ericsson Themes Creator tool is a "composer" that allows you to personalize the look and feel of any Sony Ericsson mobile phone by quickly creating great-looking themes based on existing components such as color palettes, sound files, image files or animations.

     Version 4.0 overview
     The new features launched in version 4.0 speed-up the theme creation process by simplifying the workflow, offering different editing levels and easing the import of existing color palettes.

•   Quick three-step workflow

     1.  Select color scheme using automatic color combinations, color wheel tool or import saved color palettes.
     2.  Import background images for standby wallpaper, desktop and navigation screens.
     3.  Select style using pre-defined shapes and screen areas.

•   Three editing modes

     1.  Wizard – create themes using a three-step workflow
     2.  Advanced – options to edit or create specific components
     3.  XML Editor – direct XML code editing

•   Adobe Kuler file import

     Adobe Kuler is Adobe's web-hosted application for exploring, creating and sharing color combinations and Adobe Kuler color palette files (Adobe Swatch Exchange Files) can be simply imported into the Themes Creator tool at Step 1, the color scheme selection stage in the Wizard editing mode. •   Backwards compatibility with previous tool versions

     All features and formats from previous Themes Creator tool versions are supported including importing Adobe Flash Lite™ animations (SWF files) to use as wallpaper elements (Standby screen).
